Here the WEC is beeing tested also in regular waves.

Notice the wave height in front of the WEC and compare it with the wave height behind the WEC. The WEC has reduced the wave height to app. half size which tells that the WEC has taken out 75 % of the energy in the waves. App. half of that energy is turned into usefull energy.
